People tell me I jump up in a hurry, walk fast, and am always juggling several things at once. Despite my reputation, I feel like I am never really ready for much of anything. I see myself as an egg -- incubating eternally -- waiting for the right moment to hatch. My novel could always use a little more revising. My songs could use a little more honing. That's why a web site suits me, because -- like the dishes -- a web site is never really "done".
