Notice the sun rising in the day
then the evening when it goes away
Some days the sun hides behind the clouds
Then the rains come pouring down and I see some people frown
The way they moan and complain like they're in mortal pain
You'd think they didn't know, water makes things bloom and grow
Time ago the earth was shaking here
Many people overwhelmed by fear
Some said "how could God do that to us,
why doesn't he protect his lambs
from nature's wrath and people's scams?"
I feel that still their eyes are blind to all the love that's below us and above
Don't say that God doesn't care that He's gone away somewhere
Without the darkness we cannot see the light you understand
When you feel the cold and complain
do you want others to do the same?
Your closest friend is misery and so
where have your real friends gone, do you know?
Someone is waiting for love and light, crying in a starless night… bitter tears
Notice the light behind your eyes and feel it warm you.
